Crushed remains of melted/burnt rocker switch with pliers/vise grips and removed. Broke tabs off old jammed igniter and removed. Snapped new parts into place and connected wires to igniter. (Previously replaced bad manifold o-ring that had caused gas leak that ignited and melted parts in question.)

Just for the record, found the parts on e-replacement in under a minute, when I couldn\'t on manufacturer (Weber) website after searching, like, forever...

Squirrel chewed the handle, knobs and ignition switch. Had to replace them all. The chewed off parts were functional but they look awful.

The knobs pulled off easily. The handle was unscrewed at both ends. You will need to loosen the side panels of the lid to completely remove the handle.

The electric starter on our Weber Grill hasnÆt worked in quite some time. I also was doing other repairs to repair the grill.

I removed the side grill panel and accessed the underside of the grill. There were a couple of screw that were rusted, so removal of the electric starter was not possible. I had to break the old rocker switch, but the replacement was much easier to install.
