Easy to replace Weber Silver B grill crossover Tube
Part was reasonably priced, arrived on time and fit perfectly. For sure you have to remove the knobs, right side control panel, two nuts that hold the gas valve piping to the side of the grill, and then remove the burners/replace the crossover. Easy job. 76/16th wrench, phillips screwdriver and some hand cleaner and you're done. BTW - what I've found is the BEST cleaner for grill grease and stains on the two trim panels and work tables is :LA's Totally Awesome Cleaner" available at the Dollar Tree stores (for $1.00). Works on your hands too.

Had to remove the center burner and slightly enlarge the slot at it\'s end with a hacksaw blade to allow the new tube with it\'s attached center mount to fit through. Removed the mounting screws for the two outer burners and with the tube inserted at the end of the center burner, slipped the tube ends into the outer burners after pulling
... Read morethem part way out. The completed assembly required some coaxing to get back in place, then reinstalled the side burner screws.

Crossover tube rusted out, preventing safe fuel flow to center and rear burners
Due to the hex bolts being rusted in place and unable to take out, I carefully cut off the bolt holding the front burner in place. I then gently \"forced\" the new crossover tube into the holes in the rear and front burner, coaxing the crossover tube into position.
1 Removed bolts and screw holding burner tubes
2 Slid back tubes
3 Inserted crossover tube in tube holes
4 Re-assembled
5 Turned on propane and checked for leaks
Most of the time was spent on cleaning. Replacement parts were perfect and went in well. Discovered that I need a front main burner as it has a rusted hole in it. Will have to order that later. Very good parts and delivery. Highly recommend this service.

Center tube bracket broke off leaving a hole in the tube.
Take out the grate
Take out the two screws holding the burner in
Pull up and out on the end of the burner
Lift burner up high enough to get the tube out
Reinstall the tube
RE install the burner being sure to align the burner with the manifold
Reinstall the grate
