Ferrous Bottom tray rails rusted out and one fell off letting grill bottom tray fall down

0. Used penetrating oil on screws several times waiting for replacement parts to arrive.
1. Used best original tray rail as template to drill holes in the aluminum replacement rail that were not located in correct position on my grill.
2. Found a longer screw to put in one deteriorated mounting piece for replacement rail. Reu sed one of original screws since only 2 new screws were provided in replacement box.

Pleased with replacement time in mail, I am always ready to engineer replacement parts to work to achieve the results of a grill working again beautifully. Will order further needed parts from this company.

The replacement part is made out of aluminum so rusting will not be a problem. This should be the last time I have to fix this problem.

bottom tray rails rusted out, ignitor box burnt away

Tools:
Pliers, Screw drivers, Socket set

Bottom Tray Rails:
1. Pull the bottom tray out and set it aside.
2. Remove the screws holding the current tray rails in. I found it important to remove the screws with a socket, not a screwdriver. They were rusty and seized very well. A Phillips screwdriver would have likely stripped the screw heads without removing them.
3. Pull the old rails off and clean up the bottom of the grill is you want.
4. Put the new rails on and tighten the holding screws. I put a dab of grease on the screws to help prevent them from rusting and seizing

Ignitor:
Just follow the instructions that come with the ignitor. They\'re straightforward and easy to follow.

Tools:

Sprayed penetrating oil on old rusted mounting screws 3 or 4 times. Removed 4 old screws. ( one had to be removed using vise grip pliers). the replacement rails were good replacements, but the pre-drilled holes didn\'t line up with my grills mounting holes. Marked and drilled two holes in each replacement rail. Mounted the rails using two supplied screws and two old ones after cleaning up. Works and fits perfectly.

Unfortunately the bottom rails did not line up with the existing grill holes. I was able to drill new holes since the metal was aluminum. Took a few extra minutes than what I expected but not a big deal to adapt the rails as I needed them.
