This special pumper is secured to the grill lid acting as a cushion to prevent metal on metal contact. Over time due to weathering this part may deteriorate and become brittle eventually requiring replacement. It is an original Weber replacement part that is specially manufactured for use with grills. Please note this durable rubber lid bumper is sold individually.

We just had to remove the melted bumpers and Control Knob in the side burner and replaced them with the new parts. They perfectly fit our Weber Grill side burner. The parts arrived sooner than expected!
Removed drip pan and tray.
Removed bolts.
removed tank blocker.
replaced tank blocker.
Bolted new tank blocker in with new supplied hardware.
Tightened everything down.
Replaced drip tray and drip pan.
Snapped in new rubber lid bumper.
Good to go!
