1. Remove two metal hose retention clips.
2. Remove the holder bracket from the hose drum.
3. Remove the hand crank.
4. Remove the hose drum.
5. Remove the high-pressure hose.
6. Reassemble steps 5 to 1.

You have to cut one side of the clear hose in half (carefully) and place over the new hose for extra protection from wear and tear. You need about 10 to 12 inches in length. This should extend the life of the high pressure hose.
