This is a genuine OEM sourced part that is specially made for use with Husqvarna and Weed Eater lawn mowers. It is the cable that stops the blade when the control handle is released. Unfortunately, if the cable is broken it will cause the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. I pried out the plastic clip that holds the cable with the screwdriver. I used the pliers to squeeze the tabs to remove the other end of the cable. Reverse the process with the new cable. Starts right up now.
1. Removed cable from lawnmower Handel.
2. Removed the cable from the engine.
3. Hooked the cable on the engine ran the cable upto the handel hooked it up.
4. Fasten in the cable to the handle
DONE.
