Remove the parts that are not included with the new pressure switch, and set aside. Open cover on switch and make a wiring diagram of where the wire are connected. Remove wires, then remove old pressure switch. Install new pressure switch and connect the wires per the wiring diagram. Install the other parts on the new pressure switch. Rem ove the old relief valve and replace it with the new one.

Old pressure switch blew out the internal rubber gasket. Sounds simple to replace just the gasket, but I could not find one. Air compressor would run fine but had and air leak from the rubber gasket,

Removed the old switch, which included using wrenches to disconnect gauges and pressure lines and to unscrew from the tank. Had to undo the plug and motor wiring to reconnect them to the new switch. I then added Teflon tape to all the threads that needed to be attached to the new switch and connected them. One pressure line had a compress ion fitting that I reused on the new switch. It was easier than trying to put in a new line. Everything worked great and I was able to finish a texturing job that required a compressor.
