The tank mounting rubber attaches to the fuel tank and is made of rubber. Keep in mind this part is sold individually even though four may be needed. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and used in Honda small engines. No tools should be necessary during the installation of this part. It will need to be replaced if it breaks.

My Honda Trimmer leaked gas from both the black rubber fuel line and clear return fuel line being dried out, also from the plastic fuel tank being dried out as well and being cracked. Ordered the 4 items I needed from eReplacementParts.com and received them literally the next day. Replaced the tank, the 3 fuel tank rubber mounts and both fuel lines and it works perfectly again. I had never ordered from them and debated even ordering for a few months, but decided to try them and I couldn\'t be happier. Correct parts, good prices, and fast shipping, not much else to say. Perfect 1st experience, very good Company. Thank you.
