You'll need to replace this part of your trimmer if it is hard starting or running poorly. This is usually caused by fuel being left in the carburetor for too long. Most manufacturers recommend that fuel that is older than 30 days should not be used and should be disposed of. Leaving fuel in the carburetor can cause it to clog and malfunction. To access this part, you will first remove the cover and unscrew the bolts holding it in place. Next, clamp off the fuel lines and pull them away from the carburetor. "
