Product Description

This part is an OEM from Honda for use with Lawn and Garden Equipment Engines. The governor spring applies tension to the throttle to control engine speed. The most common reason for replacing the governor spring is when it is broken or worn, causing the engine to not run at a constant speed. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the governor spring is snap ring pliers.

Removed old parts and installed the new ones in their place. Adjusting the governor arm to the shaft was a bit tricky, but online instructions helped.
