Remove the Starter Rope and Coil
Removed the Fuel Tank
Removed lines
Remove Carb and linkage
Replaced in reverse order

I started by removing as much fuel as possible from the tank. Then I started the mower to burn off all remaining fuel. Once the mower was compleltly out of fuel I removed the pull starter to get to tank. After pull starter was removed, I removed the two nuts and one bolt (under bottom of tank) holding the tank on. Then I carefully re ... Read more moved the two rubber hoses attached to the tank. A small plastic in-line filter may fall out of the bottom hose so be careful not to loose it or break it. This filter may also break if you aggressively remove the hose. Once the old tank was removed, I cleaned off the in-line filter, placed it back in the hose, then placed the hoses back on the new tank in the correct locations, attached the tank back to its mount using the two nuts and one bolt, placed the pull starter cover back on and tightened the three nuts that secure it.

Removed old filter and replaced with new. Installed new gas cap.
