This genuine replacement part is designed for use with Echo trimmers, edgers and pruners. It is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer and it is sold individually. Carburetor plays a key role in a gas powered equipment as it mixes the gas and air before the mix goes into the engine. This is a metal body carburetor with a rubber primer bulb. Please note, gaskets are sold separately. To replace this carburetor assembly you will need a screwdriver. • Remove the rear cover • Remove the carburetor • Remove the fuel filter • Install the fuel filter • Install the carburetor • Re-assemble and test the unit

Watched 2 YouTube videos demonstrating how to replace the carburetor.
Removed the old spark plug.
Removed the throttle cable end from the carburetor.
Removed the air filter.
Removed the two bolts holding the carburetor.
Cleaned the mounting surface.
Installed new carburetor and replaced all the pa rts above in reverse order ending with a new spark plug and air filter. I also replaced the fuel filter. Filled it with fresh 2 cycle fuel and it started and ran perfectly on the second pull.

Took the air filter off, removed the two bolts holding the carb. on. Disconnected the throttle cable and the to fuel lines. Removed the old carb. Reverse the steps to put the new one.
