The hard part was removing the old parts as the bolts holding them were rusted. I had to soak them with penetrating oil for an hour before they broke loose and I could replace them.

The plastic handle on the deck lift lever cracked and came off.

1. Measure diameter of lever and order hand grip.
2. Remove old hand grip. Cut with utility knife if necessary
3. Coat the inside of New hand grip with soapy water.
4. Slide new hand grip on. to lever. Twist back and forth to fully seat.

Removed two screws and bolts from the shifter arm and the, mounting bracket for the shaft arm, then installed the new shifter arm. Then I just pressed on the grip.
