This is a repair kit for various models of trimmers to fix the line holding kit within the trimmer head. The parts within this kit allow the line, or string, within a trimmer to slowly feed out while the trimmer is in use, to provide the user with further line to cut weeds and other vegetation. Over time, the parts within this kit, such as the pawls and springs, can wear out and will no longer hold the trimmer line and must be replaced. This kit includes 3 springs, 6 screws, 3 pawls and 3 hinge pins. Due to the high-use nature of these parts, replacing them more frequently may be required. • If you notice that the line is not being held within the trimmer head or gets stuck, it needs to be replaced immediately. Replacing these parts requires an Allen key, a wrench, a pair of pliers, and a flathead screwdriver.
