Keep popping out of forward. Took trans apart found that the clutch and gear catch were rounded over.

I pulled out transfer took top plate off and inspected all gears and clutch plate. Found the catches on gears and clutch were rounded over and was missing thrush washers. Put back together and runs like new. Of course replace gear lube also.

Removed transmission from tractor. Opened case and replaced 42 tooth gear and clutch collar. Reassembled. Making sure to maintain orientation of all washers and other components to maintain proper backlash.

Removed both tires
Removed brake and belt
Removed transmission
Open transmission and swapped out parts.
Special attention is needed for ballbearing that is under shifter linkage inside trans and two guides that need to be installed correctly
