This is an authentic OEM part. The Briggs & Stratton air cleaner base is compatible with many lawn and garden engines. This item secures the air filter element, and is fastened to the carburetor. The metal base includes a screw and a cardboard composite gasket, and is sold individually. You will need a wrench for the removal and installation.
