1. Remove the wheels using a socket and loosening and removing the nuts and washers.
Then pull off any wheel covers and remove the height adjustment bar by unscrewing the 2 screws/bolts using a socket.

3. ... Read more Remove belts by removing any belt keepers or shrouds using a small socket. Disconnect the drive cable if accessible. Pull the belt up over the pulley lip and rotate the pulley and belt so that the part pulled up stays on top until the belt is off.

4. Remove screws that hold the plastic keepers in place on the non drive axle.

On the dive axle, remove the bolts holding the the support bracket. Be careful as not to lose any bolts or forget the bracket position. The bracket will come off separate from the axle.

5. Remove the axle from the deck by pulling down and possible wiggling it to pull it out of place.

6. If removing a belt drive side shaft remove Remove all e-clips on the gear shafts and pull the outer bearings and washers off of the shaft.

7. (For belt drive side shafts)Pull the gear shaft and drive box out by angling and pushing the shaft\'s longest side through its hole the angle the other end up and pull the shaft out.

8. Swap out shafts and reinstall the components in reverse order.

(Note: when replacing the shaft containing a one wheel adjustment the height adjustment screw hole must be tapped with the appropriate tap.)
