I had to remove old auger pulley by using a large Cresent wrench.you need to secure the auger so you can unscrew the pulley clockwise then the replacement is put on by screwing it counter clockwise.then I replaced the belt and the auger assembly cover. 1. Unable to remove old pulley after 21 years of use, locked solidly into bearing.
2. Order new pulley and bearings.
3. Saw auger spindle to remove old auger.
4. Big problem removing old pulley due to the nuts securing the bearing being behind the pulley and
the nuts not being captured, you can turn the bolt f

completely blocked from view and reach by the pulley cant be secured in order to be removed,
they just spin.
5. Hole-saw a 1 & 1/2 hole thru center of old pulley to allow access to hold nuts solid, remove.
6. install new auger and bearing and spin on new pulley. (Left hand thread)
