Somebody tried to re-wire and bypass safety switches on lawn mower. Old lady had mower, now I\'m putting back to Factory conditions for my daughter to use.

1. Jacked up front of mower to have easier access, I have a mower jack.
2. Dropped belly to lowest setting to be able to access all wiring.
3. Removed Steering Wheel Shaft cover to be able to cut zip ties holding harness.
4. Unplugged harness from left front brake safety switch first, and then proceeded to cut all zip t ies.
5. As I unplugged old harness, installed new harness just behind each step on removal of old harness to minimize confusion. Also had a wiring diagram printed in case needed.
6. Everything matched perfectly.
7. Ran like a champ! All safeties in good working condition.

The chassis wire had burned.

I removed the old wire and replaced it with the new wire. It was a simple plug-in connection and did not require any special tools.
