This is an authentic OEM sourced item that is designed for use with Shindaiwa gas powered trimmers. The purpose of this tube is to deliver the fuel from the tank into the carburetor. When you press the primer bulb, it will purge all the air out of the carburetor and fill its chambers with fuel. The excess fuel is then forced back into the tank through the return line. Over time these lines tend to become brittle and may crack eventually requiring replacement. Keep in mind this high-quality item is made of durable rubber and is sold individually.
Pulled out center primer line from old grommet, removed old grommet from fuel tank. Pulled fuel pick up line from fuel tank. Slide retainer up line and removed fuel pickup from line. push vent line up through wire holder remove vent filter. Removed vent line from wire holder. Pull fuel line retainer up line so can remove line from carb.

Push vent line through wire holder then assemble vent filter and pull back into wire holder. assemble fuel line on to carb slide retainer over to retain. feed pickup line into gas tank through grommet hole. Push primer line into center hole in grommet. Push grommet into hole in gas tank. Use needle nose pliers and flat blade screw driver as needed.
