This item is a genuine Echo replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with trimmers and brushcutters. The starter is a complete part assembly that includes the housing, pulley, spring, and the rope/handle. Over time the pulley or spring may become damaged through normal use, and this can prevent the starter from engaging the flywheel when starting the motor. Relacing the entire starter assembly can save time and money and is generally and easier repair than replacing individual components of the starter. This item is priced as a single part.
