6 remove ignition module connector at the module (do not separate at insulated connectors)
7 remove fuel tank, clutch assy, put small diameter rope into cylinder to facilitate flywheel nut
and starter nut removal.
8 MUST use a small puller and metric fasteners long enough to engage all of the threads on
the flywheel.( see # 11 ). Very little force required to remove flywheel.
9 place flywheel on new short block aligning crankshaft key with flywheel slot.
10 put ignition module loosely in place in the highest possible position. Rotate flywheel until
the edge of magnets are under the legs of the ignition module, insert feeler gauges .013-
.015, release tension on the module screws and the magnets will pull the module onto the
feeler gauges, tighten screws firmly, rotate flywheel clockwise and remove feeler gauges.

slot on the top cover,. ** I had to modify my puller because the spacing between the fly-
wheel screw holes was two narrow. for the puller. use a rat tail file, Dremel tool, rotary burr . etc
