It is a genuine manufacturer-approved replacement nozzle, it is specially designed for use with Shindaiwa backpack blowers. This part is attached to the extension tubes to pick up the material. Over time this part can crack allowing air leaks to escape, this will greatly decrease the power of the unit eventually requiring replacement of the nozzle. Please note this durable plastic part is sold individually.
