Separate the blades section from the shaft stick using a screwdriver ,remove the broken flexible driveshaft and install the new one so simple just put back the shaft stick screw it and it is done Note :it is better to pay $9 for a new flexible driveshaft than to pay $ 400 for a new hedge trimmer.
