This replacement fuel cap assembly is a genuine Shindaiwa part. It is sourced directly from original manufacturer for use with handheld gas powered trimmers/edgers. Its purpose is to keep the fuel in the tank. A unit should not be operated if the fuel cap is damaged or missing. This fuel cap is made out of plastic and it is sold individually.
Removed air filter.
Removed two Allen mounting bolts.
Disconnected fuel lines using finger nails.
Put old gaskets on new carburetor in same way they came off the old one.
Connected fuel lines to new carburetor.
Installed carburetor using two Allen screws.
Installed air filter
