This is a genuine manufacturer-authorized replacement carburetor assembly which is specially designed for use with Shindaiwa hedge trimmers. The purpose of a carburetor is to mix the air and the gas before the combustible mix goes to the engine. Commonly if the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, or if the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This high-quality assembly includes a durable metal body carburetor with a rubber primer bulb and it is sold individually.
