It is a genuine OEM sourced replacement control cable which is commonly installed on MTD and Bolens walk-behind lawn mowers. This is is the cable that stops the blade when the control handle is released, if the cable is broken it will cause the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. Plese note this high-quality metal rubber insulated cable is sold individually.
