This is an authentic Toro replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with walk-behind lawnmowers. The v-belt is used to link the motor pulley and the transmission pulley in order to drive the transmission assembly. Disconnected the spark plug. Replaced the v belt by unbolting one of the two belt guards. Loosened the second bolt but did not remove it. Removed the transmission cover and slipped the V belt off the blade and transmission pulley. Slid the new belt over the mower blade and pulley. Reattached the belt guard and tightened both bolts.
... Read morePushed the belt through to the transmission pulley. Slid the belt over the transmission pulley and reattached the transmission cover. Connected the spark plug. Fed Unhooked the self propel cable from the mower handle. Fed the cable though the new anchor, being sure to press the cable into the cable anchor slot. Adjusted the cable and tightened the cable anchor nut.
