This high quality OEM sourced replacement fuel tank is specially made for use with Echo gas powered string trimmers and brush cutters. It is used to hold the fuel that is needed for the engine. One durable plastic tank is included per order, please note the cap, fuel lines and the hardware to secure the tank are all sold separately.

Replaced leaky fuel tank

Remove the grommet with the fuel lines and fuel filter from the tank. Then remove the three screws that hold the tank on, and remove it. Remove the gas cap and set aside. Attach the new gas tank with the three screws. Press the fuel filter thru the hole for the grommet, then press the grommet with the fuel lines into the hole. Screw on th e gas cap and your done. The impressive part was the time it took to get the part. Two days.!!

Crack in gas tank

Removed three mount screws on tank
Pried out plug seal where gas lines entered tank
Put gas lines and plug seal into new tank
Installed mount screws
Took gas tank cap from old tank and placed on new tank
Added gas, primed and started engine.

1. Un screwed the 3 screws holding the fuel tank
2. Pulled fuel hoses out with rubber gasket
3. Removed old fuel tank
4. Added new fuel tank while starting one screw
5. Put fuel and breather hoses back on is correct places
6. Screw the last 2 screws in
7. Your done!
