The cable is simple to replace and reinstall the new one. You need to remove the plastic shroud to gain access to the cable belt attachment. And just install the new one like the old one was.

I removed the guard and cable then replaced the cable and reconnected the guard.

Very simple fix.the cable that was sent by replacement parts worked perfect.we just had to route the cable as to where the old one came off.tie it down with a couple plastic ties.
