Shift cables snapped at the column end and was stuck in reverse

946-0935A
Removed steering wheel cover then the 3/8\" bolt that retains the actual wheel with my impact. Also removed throttle and shift knobs and the plastic steering shaft cover. Then Used a 9/16\" wrench to remove shift cables from shifter. Next, I used a pair of regular pliers to remove the cables from the holes on transmission. The top cable w as a bit hard to remove since I had to reach my hand in blindly from the rear of the mower to unhook the z bend. Installation is just the reverse of the disassembly. I did however find it was easier to installed the transmission end of the cable first and then feed it up the shifter.
