1. Disconnect spark plug wire- it is possible to start the engine accidentally during this process. Not likely, but you don\'t want to find out the hard way. Place the mower so the blade housing is easily accessible; I assume you already know how to do this.
2. Clean then coat engine shaft and blade securing bolts (provided)
... Read morewith an anti-seize compound, slide adapter on to shaft. Using the main blot, tighten to mfr. specs.
3. Mount new blade with the 2 included bolts. I follow aircraft maintenance procedure and always put the bolt in from the top, in case a nut wanders off there\'s a good chance the bolt will hang on until you realize something has gone horribly wrong. If you\'re lazy like me, this could be years.
4. Check for tightness and free rotation, replace plug wire, fire and go!
