The stack pulley goes next to the engine plate. This is made out of metal and is sold individually. It is a genuine OEM sourced part which is specially designed for use with Murray lawn tractors. During the installation process, a wrench might be needed to replace this item. Over time this part may break and will need to be replaced.

The lawn mower would not move and the blades would not turn. The stack pulley was stripped out

Had to remover both mower deck belt and the drive belt. Used a impact wrench to loosen the bolt that holds on the stack pulley assembly on and pull off. I hope it works for a while. The shaft on the lawn mower is pretty banged up because of the stack pulley being stripped out.

Removed the mower deck.
Removed bolt holding the pulley to crank shaft.
Removed the double pulley and installed new part.
Installed deck and test ran.
