This is an authentic Echo replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with trimmers. The hard plastic spool fits into the cutting head housing and is used to store the trimmer line. This item is available as an individual replacement part.
I removed the fuel line and replaced the line and filter. Then replaced the priming bulb as a precaution to keep air from entering the fuel system.
