This is a genuine Briggs & Stratton replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with small engines. This tank cap is used to cover and seal the fuel fill spout. Having the spout covered prohibits fuel from leaking and prevents contaminants from entering the tank. This cap is available as an individual replacement part. Tools are not needed to install this part.
