This is an authentic OEM part for use with Husqvarna, Jonsered Chainsaws The bar adjuster assembly adjusts the tension of the bar to keep the cutting chain tight. The assembly may include multiple parts. This part is sold individually. The most common reason for replacing the tensioner is when the chainsaw bar doesn't adjust when you turn the tension screw and the tensioner, rather than the tension screw, the tension gear, or the adjustment bolt, is worn or damaged. The tools that you will need to replace the bar adjuster assembly are a screwdriver and a wrench set.
