This is a genuine Husqvarna part for use with Hedge Trimmers, Brush Cutters, Trimmers, Pole Saws, and Edgers. The Engine flywheel 537249602 attaches to the crankshaft behind the recoil starter assembly. The recoil starter engages the flywheel to spin and start the engine. The most common reason for replacing the flywheel is if the engine won't turn. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the flywheel is a T25 Torx bit, spark plug wrench, clutch tool, rope, T20 Torx bit and two flat-head screwdrivers.

Fins had broken off flywheel

1.Removed plastic cover on motor
2.Removed all screws from plastic handle
3.Separate motor and shaft
4.Take out the 3 screws holding flywheel cover on, remove cover
5.Hold flywheel from moving with screwdriver or vise grip and remove nut holding flywheel on
6.Use a small bearing/wheel puller on flywheel to \"pop\" off of crankshaft
7.Line up keyway on the crankshaft and flywheel
8.Replace washer and nut while holding flywheel in place, tighten down onto shaft(shaft is cone shape so it will be a pressure fit)
9.Put back together in reverse order(make sure driveshaft cable is all the way into housing or handle will not align correctly)

Broken Flywheel

Step 1: Dismantle the cylinder cover, Unhook the throttle cable and remove the bolts holding the clutch cover.
Step 2: Remove the clutch cover and loosen the short-circuiting cable from the ignition module.
Step 3: Dismantle the ignition module and the centrifugal clutch.
Step 4: Remove spark plug and insert piston stop (or shove some rope into the spark plug hole to prevent piston from moving)
Step 5: Remove flywheel nut
Step 6: Attach puller and remove flywheel. (check condition of key and keyway before assembly
Step 7: Install new flywheel and flywheel nut
Step 8: Reinstall clutch assembly
Step 9: Fit the ignition module and adjust the spark gap to 0.3 mm (use feeler gauge)
Step 10:Reinstall the clutch cover and cylinder cover

The clutch cover and clutch go bad on this machine and fly wheel switch was cracked so all of this was replaced

Removed room all the shrouds clutch touch cover how to remove the bearing as
On/off Switch Complete trigger handle and reinstalled everything back make sure oil everything ran properly total success thank you
