This is a genuine part which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer and is used with Craftsman tillers. The recoil starter rotates the pulley and spins the crankshaft to start the engine. This part is made up of the recoil spring, the pull cord, the pull handle, and the outer housing. This part is made of plastic and nylon cord. For installation, you will need a screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers.
