This control cable is a high quality item designed for Husqvarna walk-behind lawn mowers. It is a genuine OEM supplied replacement part, not an aftermarket imitation. This cable consists of a metal rubber insulated wire cable with z-type bent ends and it is sold individually. The control cable stops the blade when the control handle is released on walk-behind mowers. If the cable is broken it will cause the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. You may need pliers to complete this repair.

Check to see if correct part. Removed cable from motor housing. Need to insert cable through lower handle plastic cable keeper and pass it to the motor housing. Attach lead end a push it into the metal keeper. Used the pliers to remove old cable at this point. Used the screwdriver to widen the gap to easy insertion. Cut the old zip ties a

1. Used pliers to remove plastic grommet next to the engine.
2. Used screwdriver to remove plastic holder on the bar.
3. Removed old cable.
4. Installed new one.
5. Works great.

The bail got ripped off during transportation to a friend\'s house. The control cable was damaged as well.
Replaced the control cable. Pliers was needed to wiggle/bump the plastic parts into place. Snapped the bail in with ease, then connected control cable to bail. Voila it is repaired.
