This is a genuine Husqvarna, Weed Eater and Poulan part for use with Lawn Tractors. The blade clutch cable connects the mower engagement lever to the idler arm on the mower deck and allows you to engage and disengage the blades. The most common reason for replacing the cable is if it is damaged, causing the mower blades to not engage. The tool that you will need to replace the blade clutch cable 3/8" socket, 1/4" socket, and pliers.
