Handle Bracket Assembly, Left Hand 532170346

Sat the mower on my workbench and removed the lower handle.
Removed the tie-wraps from the handle, which were used to hold the control cables in place.
Took off the spark plug wire from the plug and angled the mower to about 90 degrees on the rear wheels to get at the bolts holding the handle brackets in place. You might need ... Read more an extra person to help hold the mower steady while you remove the bolts . With an impact driver and socket, I removed the four bolts (two for each bracket) holding the old brackets in place. Impact drivers are great for this type of job. I then aligned the new, individual handle brackets, and with the impact driver and socket, I cinched them down. I then re-attached the handle and tie-wrapped the control cables to the handle...done.
Took the mower outside, re-attached the spark plug cable to the plug, primed it and gave it a pull.
One more pull later and it fired up.
Be sure to take off the spark plug wire any time you\'re working under a mower...the reason is obvious.
