Remove bar clamp assembly, then remove the bar, Assemble the sprocket kit on the shaft securing it with the new snap ring. Replace parts in reverse order.
Removed bar clamp assembly, then the bar and chain, used a set of snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring from the shaft. Then removed the old sprocket and washer. Then replaced all the parts in reverse order.
Problem was the spring clip that meets in the drive gear was missing Replaced spring clip and also the chain saw chain that was damaged. I also replaced the bar but I didn\'t have to but it needed some dressing up. Works fine now. Before I use my chain saws I will do a thorough inspection of my equipment to see that it is in good runnin
