Product Description

This is a genuine Ariens replacement part sourced as an OEM part for use with snowthrowers. The coated metal lever connects to the left side handlebar and is used to engage the traction drive cable. This lever is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for parts that are used with the lever like the cable, hardware, and tension springs.

Lever arm broke

Removed the cover plate
Removed left hand bracket bolt and loosened right hand bracket bolt.
Removed cam pin and cam.
Removed broken broken lever arm
Put new lever in
Replaced cam and cam pin
Replaced and tightened bracket bolts
Attached cable and tension spring to new lever
Tested
