Lawn Mower fuel tank leaked gas from middle seam of 18 yr old mower

Removed 3 x 10mm bolts securing top of tank
Removed oil filler cap to allow removal of tank
Removed gas line clamp and line from bottom of tank
Removed and replaced tank in reverse order.
Filled with gas and primed carb....runs like new.
