During the installation process, a screwdriver and a socket set might be needed to replace this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced. Removed the battery cables. And the cables from the solenoid. Removed the old solenoid and installed the new one. Attached the cables to the solenoid and then attached the battery cables.

1. Used socket set to remove old solenoid from tractor.
2. Attached new solenoid to tractor and checked fuse as well, Replaced 20 amp fuse too.
3. Reattached motor cover, used carb cleaner to help start motor. Turned motor over and ran for a few minutes, added gas to tractor and began to mow lawn.

1 Take gas tank off set it to side
2 Disconnect battery cable
3 Disconnect wires to solenoid
4 Take out old solenoid
5 Put in new solenoid
6 Do 1 through 3 steps in reverse.
