This is a genuine item that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for Murray, Snapper and Simplicity snowthrowers. The fiction disc assembly meshes with the friction disc, causing the drive wheel axle to turn. The most common reason for replacing the friction wheel is when the snowblower's wheels don't turn. Disconnect the spark plug wire before installing this part. The tools that you will need to replace the friction wheel disc are 3/8" socket, 9/16" socket, adjustable wrench, hammer, 1/2" socket, flat-head screwdriver, and lubrication. Keep in mind this high-quality friction disc is sold as an individual item.
