This is a genuine replacement blade which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Toro lawn mowers. A high-lift blade is a unique style of blade designed with larger wind wings which will increase the airflow and aid in bagging grass clippings. Over time the blade may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring replacement to maintain a clean cut lawn. It is a high-quality component which is made of durable metal and it is sold individually.

Is there a mulching kit for this mower available?Im guessing I need two blades and a discharge cover.thanks

Hi Paul, Thank you for your question. There is no mulching kit listed for your riding mower, but it does have a hi-lift blade, part number 115-5059-03, and a deflector, part number 138-7502. We hope this helps!

Removed Nuts and Bolts from Blades and Removed Worn Out Blades with New Blades . Reinstalled Retaining Bolts/Nuts and Torque them Down. Cuts Great Now !!

Idler pulley bearing bad, blades needed to be replaced.

Lowered the mower deck to access the idler pulley. I used the ratcheting strap to remove the tension spring to release V-belt tension. Removed old idler pulley, cleaned the area, then put the new one in place. Installed the bolt and tightened. Used the ratchet strap the reinstall the V-belt tension spring.
Raised the deck and dr ove the mower onto ramps. Use a short piece of 2x4 to hold blade still when I used a socket to remove the blade bolts. Cleaned the bolts and area around the spindles. Installed the new blades and bolted them in. Used the 2x4 to hold the blades when I tightened the bolts.
The other pulley and V-belt are spares.
Easy job if you have the tools.
