This air filter gasket is an authentic Kawasaki replacement part that is commonly utilized on 4 stroke engines. This is the gasket for the air filter which is sold separately. Over time gaskets tend to deteriorate and get compressed eventually requiring replacement. Please note one durable composite material gasket is included per order.

Had to diagnos why engine was running on 1 cylinder on and off. would run fine for first 5 min. then when engine got hot would start to run on 1 cylinder. Checked to see if coil was good, gas flow good. plugs good. Checked for vacuum leaks and this is where the problem was found. Sucking air from gasket at carb to manifold. Installed new gaskets at carb and manifold to heads. Runs fine now. So, it is possible for one cylinder to run and the other cylinder not when a vacuum leak is detected.

O-ring seals in float bowl were spent and replaced gaskets were replaced as needed

Removed the two bolts holding the mower motor cover on. Removed the 2 wing nuts holding the air cleaner cover on. Removed the two wing nuts holding the air breather filter and removed it. Removed the choke and throttle linkages, Removed the fuel line from the top of the carburetor. Removed the 4 bolts /screws holding the carburetor on, an d removed the crankcase vent line.
Unplugged the solenoid needle valve from bottom of float bowl. Removed the two ,float bowl screws and replaced the bad o-rings and seals. reassembled and mowed.....

removed carb from engine, gaskets ripped from face and after cleaning the float gasket was warped. cleaned all jets and re installed parts once the arrived
