This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with walk-behind lawnmowers. The gearbox gasket is used to seal the connection between the top of the gearbox and the forward pivot bracket. This gasket is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.

Remove old axle assy. remove and install rear wheels on the correct side being sure to take a picture of the order of washers and thrust washers. You have to be sure to get the slip parts in the wheels on the right side. The biggest problem I encountered was a bolt broke on the belt guide. This is also one of the bolts securing the engine to the frame.Tried several eze-outs and managed to break a couple. Finally went ahead and drilled the hole out and installed a 3/8 bolt with a nylon lock nut. Start and test ran mower. Trans worked as designed.

Gears bad in front drive axle

Nutdriver, Pliers, Screw drivers, Socket set, Wrench (Adjustable), Wrench set
1. Removed the blade.
2. Removed the drive cable from the transmission.
3. Removed the drive belt.
4. Removed the belt cover.
5. Removed the transmission.
6. Removed the drive pulley.
7. Removed the pinion gear.
8. Removed the pinion gear bearing.
9. Put the new parts in and reassembled the unit. All fit perfectly.

Transmission slipping

Opened the transmission, cleaned all the old grease and dirt from every part, put a washer on the drive gear to make up fit the gear wear, packed it with new grease and put it back together. It works again!
