This replacement v-belt is a high quality item that is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer that is specially designed for use on Ariens snowblowers. This is the smaller v-belt that helps to drive the unit, the longer belt is sold separately. When replacing this belt make sure to clean the pulleys off before installing the new belt to ensure top performance. Please note one durable rubber item is included per order requiring a wrench set to complete the repair.

Removed belt guard
Deattached auger assembly from drive chassis
Removed auger belt and set aside auger assembly
Removed drive pulleys and belt
Installed drive belt and reassembled drive pulleys
Install auger belt on auger assembly pulley
Attach auger assembly to drive chassis
Attach auger belt to main power pulley
Install guards
Test

17 Year old heavily used snowblower \"tune up.\"

Watched youtube on how to remove friction disc.
Put the snowblower in the repair position, removed wheels, and removed the bottom plate.
Removed 6 bolts (3 on each side) that hold shaft that holds friction disc in place.
Removed right hand cotter pin from shaft.
Removed shaft assembly with Friction disc.
Rem oved old disc and replaced with new friction disc.
Cleaned out area put light amount of grease on gears and reassembled.
Watching the youtubes was key. This was easier to do than I thought it would be. Ordering the parts from ereplacementparts.com was also very easy, and not confusing. Everything fit. I replaced the belts since I was at it.
